Registration & Fees – FAQs
Do I need to register to play hockey?
Yes.
All players must register online via the Revolutionise Sport (RevSport) platform from January onwards. This registers you with Hockey Victoria as a member of Yarra Hockey Club and makes you eligible to play.
What is Hockey Victoria registration?
Hockey Victoria registration connects you to the wider Victorian hockey community and competitions.
It is essential because it covers:

All player insurance

Access to Victorian competitions

Competition and association administration
Hockey Victoria registrations are broken into the following categories:
Junior Hookin2Hockey
Covers Hookin2Hockey participants and also includes U8/U10 full season registration.
Junior Playing Registration (Under 18)

Full season or 5 game options
Senior Playing Registration (19+)

Full season or 5 game options
Official, Volunteer & Coach Registrations
Because hockey is one connected community, Hockey Victoria also allows multiple registrations. For example:

Playing seniors at one club and juniors at another

Volunteering at one club and coaching at another
What fees do I need to pay?
All players pay two separate fees:

What if I can’t play a full season?
Both Hockey Victoria and Yarra HC offer a 5 game membership option.
I’m a junior playing seniors — what do I register as?
Juniors playing seniors only require a Junior membership.
Are there late fees?
Yes.

Senior fees paid after 30 March 2026 incur a 5% late fee

Junior fees paid after 30 April 2026 incur a 5% late fee
Do new members receive a uniform?
All new Senior Yarra members receive a complimentary playing shirt.
Do you offer supporter memberships and donations?
Yes! We offer Yabby Supporter memberships, including:

Yarra HC Merchandise (scarves and beanies)
- Drinks and coffee cards for home games

Attendance at Blue & Gold coterie lunches
We also offer opportunities to donate to current Yarra HC funding campaigns and development.
