We have seen first than the development benefits that players get from taking on umpire roles through gaining a deeper understanding of the rules and what it takes to create an inclusive and respectful on-field culture.
In accordance with Hockey Victoria’s recommendations and League Entry Criteria in 2024 we are appointing a Club Umpire Developer Role to oversee the future development of umpires at the club.
